Service Description

In Japan, there is a concept called Ichiju Sansai (one soup and three dishes), which represents the fundamental structure of a balanced meal. A traditional Japanese breakfast perfectly embodies this concept. In this class, you will learn how to prepare a basic Japanese breakfast. My ultimate goal is to help everyone enjoy healthy and delicious Japanese food, no matter where they are in the world. To achieve this, we will teach you how to cook rice in a pot and make miso soup from scratch by preparing dashi broth. Additionally, you’ll learn how to grill fresh fish fillets, create a seasonal vegetable side dish, and craft a delicious tofu-based dish.By the end of the session, you’ll have the confidence to recreate these iconic Japanese dishes in your own kitchen, impressing friends and family alike! What You’ll Learn: - How to plan a balanced menu. - How to cook rice in a pot. - How to prepare dashi broth (Japanese soup stock). - How to use dashi broth in miso soup and side dishes. - How to prepare side dishes commonly served in Japanese households. - Basics of Japanese table setting. The vegetables used in the side dishes will vary depending on the season. While grilled salmon is typically provided, the type of fish may change based on availability.
